Having Fun Experimenting

Journal Entry: Tue Jul 21, 2009, 2:02 AM

Well the trip to the UK was a blast and, all things considered, as cheap as chips. The weather blessed us with sunshine every day and some light rain on just a couple. Temperatures into the high 20s (Celcius of course!) were common and, all in, Old Blighty looked to be launching into a gorgeous summer. I must say it felt a lot like going home, even though we only lived there for a couple of years and that was a good 13 or more years back!

We've loads (3000+) of new photos and now require only the time to process them all.

Artemis is quite the master (mistress?) of getting naked at the drop of a hat at a popular tourist spot, throwing a few poses, then being all decent again by the time the next tourist strolls by so we did manage to get some shoots done in a castle (hmmm, 2 actually), a druidic stone circle, Hadrians Wall... exactly the sort of locations we simply don't have access to in New Zealand.

So, in the name of procrastination, we've put the task of sorting and processing those shots aside for a bit and instead went into the studio to have a good old experiment with lighting, gels and a few new outfits.

All's fun :)

Thanks For The Attention

A lot of people pass through, put me on their watchlist or add my photos to their favourites and collections. I want to say a big thank you for your appreciation of the photos my models and I produce. I hope you understand that I am thankful for these even when I don't respond to them all.

If you do wish to hear from me, drop me a line or leave a comment on my deviations. I accept constructive critique gratefully.

Deviously yours :-)

Hiya Trev. It's sophie. Found you via your "grapes of goth" that is a cool picture. How does one go to a wedding like that lol. ;P

Lots of belief in being yourself and in not having to live up to others' expectations would be required I reckon... something I can certainly respect!

Glad you found the account. There's another pic of him in here somewhere :)

Trust me, I've got a plan. When the lights go up you'll understand...

That's true. I'd love to wear a goth gown to a wedding or as a dress but i think several people would kill me. Me and mum thought it'd be cool to invert the colour. Like men wear white, and women wear black for a change ;P
